The apartment
A separate bedroom, a living space, a full kitchen and a bathroom, with fibre Wi-Fi and a smart TV. Bed linen, towels and kitchen equipment are supplied. The full kitchen is the point: The Pebbles Hotel also has double and family rooms, but the one-bedroom apartments are the ones built for living in for a month or more. It suits a contractor on a project in or around the town who wants to cook properly after a shift rather than eat out every night.
The building
The Pebbles Hotel has a painted frontage on St Michael's Road and sits next door to The Coast Hotel, on the West Cliff side of the town centre. There is a lift, and free private parking directly in front of the building, which saves a walk with tools or luggage. Residents have free use of the 24-hour gym and the games room at The Shore House Hotel, about five minutes away. Check-in is from 15:00, check-out by 10:00.
The location
St Michael's Road runs between the town centre and the West Cliff. West Cliff Beach is six to seven minutes on foot, Westbourne village ten minutes, Bournemouth Pier fifteen and the main shopping streets fifteen to twenty. Bournemouth has an airport and a direct train to London Waterloo in under two hours, useful for a contractor going home at weekends. How a stay works
The minimum is 28 nights and there is no fixed term, so a three-month contract that becomes six simply carries on, subject to availability. Rent includes electricity, gas, water, fibre Wi-Fi, council tax, the TV licence, parking and the gym. A standard cleaning and security deposit is the only other payment. Ease of booking. Great communication with the team. Moved to the area and stayed while purchasing property. Very flexible regarding duration of stay. 2 months. We stayed in 2 different apartments. Lovely and cosy apartment in the centre
Lovely and cosy apartment in the centre of Bournemouth, and managing to still be quiet. Close to the train station (and buses), big Asda superstore, town centre, park and the beach. I have stayed so far in 2 different apartments in the same building on 2 separate occasions. Both, lovely decorated, with everything one may need for a short or longer stay. A kind of apartment you just want to stay in the whole day! I would definitely recommend.
