The apartment
A furnished penthouse with a sea view, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a washing machine, a bathroom, fibre Wi-Fi and a smart TV. Linen, towels and kitchen equipment are supplied. It suits a couple relocating to the coast who would rather spend their first months somewhere they chose for the view than in a stop-gap, and it is the apartment a company tends to ask for when placing a senior member of staff on a long assignment.
The building
The Tower House Hotel stands on the cliff top between the town centre and Westbourne. There is a lift, free private parking on site with the bay in your arrival instructions, and free use of the 24-hour gym and the games room at The Shore House Hotel, about five minutes on foot. Check-in is from 15:00, check-out by 10:00, and the Flexiestays team is available around the clock.
The location
Below the building, the West Cliff Lift and the zig-zag paths take you from the cliff top to the promenade and the sand in under two minutes. Walk east along the cliff for ten minutes and you reach Bournemouth Pier; walk west for five to ten and you are among Westbourne's delis and cafés. The town centre is about fifteen minutes away, and the direct train from Bournemouth reaches London Waterloo in under two hours, which keeps a London office within a day trip. How a stay works
There is one penthouse, so availability depends on your dates and it is worth asking early. The minimum stay is 28 nights and there is no fixed term: extend month by month, subject to availability. Rent includes electricity, gas, water, fibre Wi-Fi, council tax, the TV licence, parking and the gym; a standard cleaning and security deposit is the only other payment. It is a serviced let, not a tenancy, so there is no twelve-month contract, no agency fee and no referencing charge. Companies receive VAT invoicing and a named account manager. Lovely apartment
Had a great few days staying in Tower House apartment 1. It's a well equipped unit with washing machine, dishwasher and fridge freezer, iron and ironing board and sockets for charging your devices. Being on the lower ground floor meant it remained a nice temperature despite the hot weather (we did have the windows open, and used the fan which helped). There is a dehumidifier in the bedroom, which does need emptying quite frequently. A great place to stay, very close to the BIC and beach, and we look forward to staying there again.

Ease of booking. Great communication with the team. Moved to the area and stayed while purchasing property. Very flexible regarding duration of stay. 2 months. We stayed in 2 different apartments.
