Outstanding from start to finish
The apartment exceeded our expectations with its modern design and thoughtful touches throughout. Walking distance to both the seafront and shopping areas made it incredibly convenient. Clear instructions, responsive host. Would absolutely stay here again on our next visit to Bournemouth.
Modern, clean and superbly located
Lovely apartment in very close proximity to Bournemouth town centre and beach. Modern, very clean and well equipped. Onsite parking was a big plus, making it easy to explore the area. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.
Second stay, and we'll be back
Great apartment at a perfect location. Jack and the team were so easy to deal with. This is our second time at this apartment block and we'll definitely be returning. Clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Estate agents in Ashley Cross: questions
Is Ashley Cross a good place to rent without a car?
Yes. Parkstone station is a short walk from the green, buses run to Poole and Bournemouth, and supermarkets, delis and bakeries are on the doorstep. Parking is tight on the older roads, so a flat without a space is easier to live in here than in most of Poole.
Is Ashley Cross noisy?
The green is lively in the evenings and at weekends, because the bars and restaurants trade into the night. A flat facing the green hears it; a flat a street or two back usually does not. We say which way the bedrooms face when we market a home here.
Is Ashley Cross a conservation area?
Yes. The Ashley Cross Conservation Area was designated in 1987 and amended in 2012. Changes to the outside of a building, such as windows, doors, walls and signs, can need consent from BCP Council. It does not stop you selling or letting a home.
Are most homes in Ashley Cross leasehold?
Most flats are, particularly in the converted villas. The lease length, service charge, ground rent and any letting restrictions affect both the price and whether the flat can be let. Houses are usually freehold. We read the lease before we value or market a flat.
What is the difference between Ashley Cross and Parkstone?
Ashley Cross is the village centre of Lower Parkstone, around the green and the station. Parkstone covers a much wider area of Poole either side of Ashley Road. Our Parkstone area page covers the rest of the district.
