Bournemouth station is a walk inland, the Lansdowne offices and the university buildings are behind the cliff top, and the town centre is a few streets west. People who need somewhere to live for a few months, not a home for years, want exactly that.
They are people relocating to jobs in the town centre who arrive by train, academics and visiting staff at the Lansdowne, healthcare workers on placements, remote professionals who want a sea view and a direct line to London, and households placed by an insurer while their own home is repaired. Many do not bring a car, which suits a district where parking is tight.

Lovely and cosy apartment in the centre
Lovely and cosy apartment in the centre of Bournemouth, and managing to still be quiet. Close to the train station (and buses), big Asda superstore, town centre, park and the beach. I have stayed so far in 2 different apartments in the same building on 2 separate occasions. Both, lovely decorated, with everything one may need for a short or longer stay. A kind of apartment you just want to stay in the whole day! I would definitely recommend.
